Have you ever had the experience of talking with someone and knowing you’re about to use a word and then questioning yourself before it even comes out of your mouth? It happens in a split second, but that’s how I feel about bring and take.
So, here’s a quick quiz for you. Do you believe this sentence is correct or incorrect?

The correct answer is:

See, this is one of those sentences I go back and forth when deciding. But, bring generally indicates movement toward the speaker or writer. Take indicates movement away from the speaker or writer.
I guess what it all boils down to is sometimes I don’t know if I’m coming or going!
